Cancer Can't Kill the Memories/Ovarian Cancer Awareness
You're Really Gone
I still can't believe that you're gone.
It doesn't seem that it has been so long.
Wasn't it just yesterday, you were here?
Right around the corner, so near?
Now from out of the blue,
Suddenly, I'm reminded of you.
A memory of something that you once said.
A voice so familiar inside my head.
How can it be that voice is now silent?
When once it was so strong, so cheerful and vibrant?
Too soon you were taken from this place.
A realm you occupied with a beautiful grace.
A truer lady, I may never find.
And I feel truly blessed that your path crossed mine.

Ovarian Cancer Awareness
In the past, it was believed that ovarian cancer did not produce any symptoms until the tumor was widespread, and early symptoms of ovarian cancer were not recognizable.
However, the American Cancer Society has released a consensus statement about possible early symptoms of ovarian cancer. This statement was based on research implying that some of the early symptoms of ovarian cancer can be recognized. In particular, possible early ovarian cancer symptoms include the following:
- Bloating
- Pelvic or abdominal pain
- Urgent or frequent urination
- Difficulty eating or feeling full very quickly
Researchers suggest that women who have these systems should see a gynecologist for cancer screening if these problems are new, if the symptoms are severe, and if they have been present continuously for over 2 to 3 weeks.
